ELO com serial Touchscreen will trotz Treiber ok nicht?!
Hi,
mein Elo Touchscreen mit serial Interface will nicht.
Also, der Treiber funktioniert und in "Systemsteuerung"
-> "ELO Touchscreen" -> "Diagnostics"
steht, dass der Controller richtig installiert wurde und funktioniert.

Wenn ich nun versuche den Touch screen zu kalibrieren, kann ich drücken wo und wie ich will, aber es tut sich nichts.
Auch sonst, kann ich den Mauszeiger mit dem Touchscreen nicht beeinflussen, es klappt einfach nicht.
Ich hab schon mal das Com-Kabel auf durchgang aller 9 Leitungen geprüft, alle inordnung.
Was kannn ich noch versuchen?

Hi,
ja hat er, aber das ist schon laaaange her. Der stand ewig im Schrank. Der ist sogar so alt, dass er nicht mehr bei elo unter "discontinued" auf geführt ist. Weis auch nicht warum die den da nicht drin haben.

Hallo Lofty,
leider schreibst Du nicht, was für ein Modell Du hast. Bei meinem befindet sich auf der Interfaceplatine eine LED, welche anzeigt, ob die oberfläche ok, ist, eine Berührung registriert wird oder ein Fehler vorliegt. Hast Du die auch, und wenn ja was macht sie?

Hi, die LED habe ich auch schon bemerkt, ich dachte sie gibt an, das der seperate Touch-Kontroller funktioniert. Ich schaue morgen mal nach ,ob sie etwas verwertbares von sich gibt. Ich kann mich momentan nur an ein Dauerleuchten erinnern.

aber ich hätt gemeint, bei elo gibts eine erklärung für die LED...

danke das du mal nachgeschaut hast. Ich habe bei Elo leider keine beschreibung gefunden.
Bei mir leuchtet die LED sobald der touch-controller saft bekommt. hm, mal schaun ob ich was finde

Hallo Lofty,
hab mal die Info zu der LED gesucht:
IntelliTouch Serial Controllers
The IntelliTouch serial controllers have one green diagnostic LED. Following
power on, the controller performs a short self-test, where the LED stays lit.
After the self-test, the LED flashes once per second, indicating normal
operation. The self-test results are displayed by most Elo driver software.
During normal operation, the LED also indicates controller/host communication
is in progress. When the touchscreen is touched, the LED should light
continuously, then return to the normal flash rate. If the host does not remove
the packet from the controller, the LED will stay lit.
The LED will also stay lit without a touch if the touchscreen or cabling is
disconnected or not functioning.
If the LED flashes about two times per second, a warning error condition is
indicated, such as improper communication from the host. Suspect an invalid
command sequence from the host.
