Drei neue Mainstream-Mainboards von Foxconn Options

Foxconn hat zwei neue Mainboards auf Basis des Intel 945G Chipsatzes und ein Mainboard auf Basis des Intel 945GC Chipsatzes vorgestellt.

Das Top-Modell der drei ist das Foxconn 45CM-S. Dieses unterstützt die Intel Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Duo, Pentium D, Pentium 4 und Celeron D Prozessoren und arbeitet mit einem Front Side Bus von bis zu 1066 MHz. Bis zu vier Gigabyte DDR 2 RAM (400/533/667) lassen sich einsetzen. Den Usern stehen ein PCI-Express x16, ein PCI-Express x1 Steckplatz und zwei PCI Steckplätze für zusätzliche Erweiterungskarten zur Verfügung. Das Board ist für Windows Vista zertifiziert.

Letzteres gilt auch für das Foxconn 45CM, die kleinere Variante, die mit einem FSB von 800 MHz auskommen muss und sich als kostengünstiges Einsteigerboard positioniert.

Das Foxconn 45GM basiert auf dem Intel 945G Chipsatz und bietet wiederum einen 1066er FSB, kann maximal vier Gigabyte RAM aufnehmen und stellt dem User einen PCI-Express x16, einen PCI-Express x1 Steckplatz und zwei PCI Steckplätze zur Verfügung.

Preise und Verfügbarkeit
Alle drei Mainboards sind ab sofort im Handel verfügbar. Die unverbindlichen Preisempfehlungen für das Foxconn 45CM-S ist 59 Euro, für das Foxconn 45CM 58 Euro und für das Foxconn 45GM 61 Euro.
